Summary
Buster believes it's his destiny to go to Pizza Paula's Pizzaland and win the pizza-eating contest for free pizza for life. While he is there, he goes back to the hotel room to sleep early for the pizza contest, except he can't fall asleep.
Plot
Opening
The opening begins as Arthur introduces Buster about a special subject he knows all about. Buster thanks him, then asks someone to roll the tape. The discussion: Sleep!
He begins to show clips of him asleep and talks of how important it is, and how helpful it can be. And it also saves energy for the important things in life. He brushes his teeth, then goes to bed... As Arthur returns he sees Professor Buster has fallen asleep...
Episode
Arthur, Muffy, Francine, and Brain are watching a Space show asks Arthur asks them if they ever gave their future's any idea when they claim Buster will probably become a Mattress Tester!
It's then they see a commercial for a special Pizza place that is opening up soon called "Pizza Land". The woman who runs it also brings up a special contest and anybody who wins will win a whole lot of pizza! Of course, Buster immediately becomes interested, but his mother tells him they probably won't have any money for it.
In hopes of proving it to her, Buster tries to do many tasks around the town, but he only has made a few cents... which was most likely because he kept falling asleep on the job.
Buster really believes it's to be his destiny when suddenly his mother gets a call from the newspaper and in a matter of minutes, Buster and his friends fly out to Pizza Land!
His mother has gotten a hotel room at Pizza Land due to the newspaper and upon arrival Buster signs up for the contest, showing his skill to a bunch of other participants when he asks for a pizza. Later that night, while it's still early Buster goes to go bed so that he'll be prepared for the following day while everyone else goes out to enjoy Pizza Land..
Some hours later upon returning they see Buster awake and pacing around in his room. They claim it's because he tried to go to sleep so early, so his mother gives him her eye mask and he tries to sleep again. Only for him to end up dreaming about pizza again...
He awakens to see everyone else already asleep. Meanwhile, Arthur is having a dream where D.W. is his personal maid, but he quickly wakes up, along with everybody else except his mom after Buster wakes up Arthur.
He quickly goes to sleep after Brain shows him some equations, but it only lasts a minute or two. Francine then tries to exercise him, Muffy gives him her bed (but then she can't sleep and demands it back...), Binky tries to suggest something when Francine mention's Arthur was the only one who didn't try.
He suggests he count sheep, to which Francine calls it lame. But it works! Arthur's dream resumes, but only for a minute.. Buster wakes him up again! Arthur is getting angry and refuses to help, to which Buster decides he'll call room service for more pizza, but they tell him it's closed.
So he's going to have to come down into the kitchen for food if he wants anything. The head chef mistakes him for a chef also and Buster surprisingly sees all of the other participants there cooking pizza too!
Buster then relies that he's going to wind up as stressed as them if he keeps thinking this particular contest is his destiny. And within a matter of seconds, he falls to sleep finally...
At the day of the contest, everybody except Buster is practically passed out. An announcement is then held saying the contest was postponed due to the owner of Pizza Land being too sleepy from a sleepless night!
She too was too excited to sleep so now Buster has to wait ANOTHER day! That evening, Buster once again is having trouble falling asleep and he tries to talk to the others, only for nobody to respond as the episode ends...
