Sharky is a purple-and-white inflatable toy shark owned by D.W. Read. Sharky is originally seen in Arthur's Family Vacation when the Reads plan on going to the beach. Muffy Crosswire owns an inflatable shark identical to Sharky that is seen in a flashback from Muffy's Classy Classics Club, but it is unknown what name Muffy gave to her shark, if any. Sharky also appears in Arthur Makes a Movie when a shark (Sharky) attacks a woman (Francine) who James Hound (Arthur) has to save.
