Trivia

  • Before the title card, at the beginning, there is an "opening crawl" which is a parody on the Star Wars opening crawl at the beginning of the movies. There is also a "Recently in a galaxy far far away..." statement at the beginning of the episode which is a parody on the Star Wars statement "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..." that appears at the beginning of the movies. Also, the title is a reference to "Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi".
  • As Brain is leaving the Read house, D.W. addresses Brain as George saying " Hey wait, George was just going to tell me about the ice cream mess! "
  • In this episode, D.W. finally admits that Arthur couldn't have taken the snowball; however, this does not end the gag as it resurfaces in later seasons.
