Rat Woman was a series of fiction that Francine was a fan of in the early Arthur books. It is a play on Catwoman. Francine was seen carrying a Rat Woman lunchbox in the book Arthur and the True Francine. Rat Woman hasn't been seen or mentioned in any of the later books or the cartoon show. However, Francine has since become a fan of her friend Arthur's favorite Bionic Bunny series.
