Summary

It's the 1st Annual Lakewood Derby and Muffy's revved up! But when she enlists her dad to help her make the winning car, he completely takes over. Can Muffy hit the brakes on this runaway project? Or will she be left in the dust?

• This episode's plot is similar to a combination of "Sue Ellen and the Brainasaurus" and "Muffy's Art Attack."
• George wins another contest.
• Binky's derby car was only a block of wood with wheels, similar to his other low-effort wood projects, like in "Arthur's Dummy Disaster" and "The Silent Treatment."
• In the beginning of the show, DW struggles playing with "Cranky Bees", a parody to the popular game "Angry Birds". This parody becomes more obvious as DW states that the game was for the birds at the end of the intro.
