Marc Brown is the creator of the Arthur books.
He was born on November 25th 1946, in Erie, Pennsylvania. He has three children: Tolon, Tucker, and Eliza. In 1976, he started writing the arthur books based on a story about an aardvark he was telling his son. Currently, he lives in Marthas Vineyard, his studio is in his barn, this is where he writes and illustrates his books.
