Julie Lemieux
Julie Lemieux is the voice actor for both Bud Compson and Mrs. Compson. Lemieux also provided the voice for Kara, a character in a soap opera, in Arthur's seventh season, though at the time she went uncredited for her role. The same scene was later reused in the premiere of the sixteenth season, at which time the characters of Bud and Mrs. Compson were introduced.
Lemieux is a prolific voice actress from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, whose work includes the voice of Louise on Nick Jr.'s Max & Ruby, the title characters on the Discovery Kids educational series Wilbur and the Nelvana classic Rupert, and Funshine Bear in Care Bears: Journey to Joke-a-Lot.
