Julie Lemieux is the voice actor for both Bud Compson and Mrs. Compson. Lemieux also provided the voice for Kara, a character in a soap opera, in the seventh season of Arthur, though at the time she went uncredited for her role. The same scene was later reused in the premiere of the sixteenth season, at which time the characters of Bud and Mrs. Compson were introduced.
