Emily is hinted in many episodes as the nicer and more considerate version of [[D.W.]] She is described as a nice, sweet, and noble girl. Emily is considered to be girly and loves everything fancy. It is hinted that Emily is half French and speaks many words. But Emily can be dishonest; a firm example is in the episode ''[[Emily Swallows a Horse]]'' when she lied to D.W. to just get a nice sparkly ball. She hates it when D.W, is inconsiderate and does anything to avoid her. Emily also has a tough side shown in the episode ''[[The Good, the Bad, and the Binky]]'' when first she was obsessed to dolls from being obsessed to wrestling and action figures.
She is now a girl with lots of trouble with playing on the swings a lot.Her nickname is Gubbas Wabbas.

Lisa: Emily is also good friends with one of D.W.'s class mates Lisa. In the episode D.W.'s Very Bad Mood D.W. was jealous because Emily got to go to Lisa's Party and not her, but she later revealed that she didn't play with Lisa as much as Emily did.

Emily in her original appearance.

Emily is shown to be three-quarters rabbit and one-quarter monkey with blond hair (at Francine's length) and she always wears a blue dress with black shoes, and is very tall. In the earlier seasons Emily was short and had short fuzzy blond hair and wore a pink dress. In the books, her hairstyle remains unchanged. She is one of the very few characters of trans-species.
