The Exploratorium is a science scenter showing people how things work like what lungs look like and how they work an exercise bike a plasma ball a rotatable model of Earth a room created to simulate being upside down. Arthur takes D.W. there to show her how things really work when she starts telling people how she thinks things work. At an earlier time Binky and Mr. Ratburn's third grade class visited the Exploratorium where they saw how many things like magnetism static electricity and solar power worked. Binky did not enjoy it. When Arthur and his friends were in third grade at some point Mr. Ratburn brought them here and they did the same things as the previous third grade class. Binky came too because he was held back from moving into fourth grade. Binky didn't enjoy it at first but later on started to enjoy it when he found The world of tommorow. Just as they were about to leave Binky did the display about magnetism
