Edward M. Crosswire was the father of Edward E. Crosswire, the father-in-law of Millicent Crosswire and the grandfather of Muffy and Chip. According to Muffy, Edward M. was responsible for transforming the company founded by his father into what it is today. "Locked in the Library!"
