Once Grandma Thora tells DW stories do not have to be written down, she tells Arthur one. It is a story from ancient greek mythology. Oh DW-ius is traveling with her preschool crew. She stole Posiedon, the greek god of the sea's, best unicorn, which makes sense since Poseidon created horses. Then, everyone gets stuck in The Layer of the Lotus Eaters. They make everyone want to stay. Everyone but DW had one. They get stuck in Pollydectus' cave. Since he is dumb, DW raps his ear around his head.

D.W. Tale Spins is the first half of the sixth episode of Season 4. It aired with Prunella Gets It Twice.

Summary

Arthur and Buster are into the Vegemorphs series which they think is better than the Scare-Your-Pants-Off-Books. D.W. says she can tell a better story than the Vegemorphs to which Arthur disagrees. With some help from Grandma Thora, she retells "The Odyssey" to prove that not all stories have to be written down.

Plot

Once Grandma Thora tells DW stories do not have to be written down, she tells Arthur one. It is a story from ancient greek mythology. Oh DW-ius is traveling with her preschool crew. She stole Posiedon, the greek god of the sea's, best unicorn, which makes sense since Poseidon created horses. Then, everyone gets stuck in The Layer of the Lotus Eaters.
