The Crown City Subway is the rapid transit system owned by Elwood City's neighbor city, Crown City. It has at least 3 stations in operation, which are the Elwood City Station, the Crown City Station, and one located by Grandpa Dave's hometown. The Crown City Star uses on the subway. It was built in 1903, making it the first subway in use.

Near the end of Muffy Goes Metropolitan Sue Ellen, Muffy, and Carla go underground into the Crown City Subway.
The Elwood City Station was seen in Grandpa Dave's Memory Album when the Reads' picked up Grandpa Dave from the station.
