Bitzi's Break Up is the second half of the first episode of Season 8. It aired with Dear Adil. This episode deals with parental breakups.

Summary

Bitzi has a confession to make to Buster: she's breaking up with her boyfriend, Harry. Buster is dismayed, so with the help of Muffy, he creates a plan to get them back together again.

Plot

The intro begins with Buster walking home from the circus with his mom Bitzi and her boyfriend Harry Mills. They decide to get something to eat at the Sugar Bowl and Buster points out the sandwich named after Harry which is called The Harry Mills Meatball Experience. At the table Bitzi mentions to Buster that she and Harry have something they would like to talk to him about but Buster is to busy reading the newspaper and notices that the new animated movie House Wars is playing and wants to take his mom and Harry to see it to which they agree. As Buster walks outside he sadly lets go of his balloon from the circus and it floats away.

The title is spoken in Francine's voice and the episode begins with Buster laying in bed throwing his baseball into his glove and when his Mom comes in to see if he's asleep he pretends to be and when she leaves he wakes up and continues throwing his baseball into his glove sadly. The next day Buster tries to rush off to school early without breakfast but his Mom stops him and tells him that she has something to tell him. At first Buster thinks that it's because Harry is moving away because he's decided to become a pilot or a sponge diver out something else you can't do in Elwood City but Bitzi tells Buster that Harry isn't going anywhere which makes Buster happy and he decides to have breakfast but becomes shocked when he finds out that the news is that his mom and Harry are breaking up. Later after school Buster tells Arthur that he's upset that Harry and his Mom are breaking up because he enjoyed going to Elwood City Greebs Baseball Games with Harry and that he can't go with his Mom because she doesn't like baseball. When Arthur suggests that Buster's Mom might get a new boyfriend Buster imagines that his mom gets a boyfriend named Martin Spivack who works in an insurance company and who is very boring and doesn't wanna waste his time spending it with Buster. Buster decides that his Mom and Harry can't break up and goes to Muffy for advice and she gives him a love magazine to help him get his Mom and Harry back together.

Buster first gives Harry a secret invitation from his Mom inviting him to dinner at their apartment and then goes to the park to get some flowers and tries to order some food from a restaurant but finds it to be too expensive and busy Pizza instead. He takes everything home and sets up the dinner with love music from Tyrone Bellows but when Bitzi arrives home Harry shows up and they begin to argue over what's happening to which Buster tells them they shouldn't be fighting they should be making up but his Mom tells him that she doesn't wanna make up with Harry because she's the one who broke up with him.and that night she explains to him that the reason she broke up with Harry was because she is too busy for a relationship.

The next day after school Buster gives Muffy her magazine back and tells her that his Mom and Harry didn't get back together. Then Harry shows up and tells Buster that although he and Buster's Mom broke up they're still friends and he and Buster can still go to Greebs Games. They then go to the Sugar Bowl where they share's Buster's Own Sandwich called The Buster with Buster's Mom and then Harry and Buster leave to go to the Greebs Game and Buster's Mom gets her sandwich to go and the episode ends.
