Bastings is a fictional character in Fern's stories in "Phony Fern", "The Trouble with Trophies", "Fern and the Case of the Stolen Story", and "The Case of the Girl with the Long Face". He is played by George, and is the sidekick to Virgule Watteau (and Annabelle Fauteuil).
