"Arthur Gets Lucky" is the second half of the 2nd episode of Season 2 of the animated children's series Arthur. Together with Binky Barnes, Art Expert , it first aired on September 29th, 1997.
Summary
Arthur 's luck begins to change after he finds a pencil right before the stop of a rainstorm. After several lucky breaks, Arthur and his friends are convinced that the pencil is lucky. As the pencil gets shorter, Arthur is more conservative with it. Even with an upcoming history test, he will not let anyone use it, not even himself. He then loses the pencil and can't find it, he surprises himself by getting an A on the test without it. After a while, he decides that it's himself that gets him good grades, not any good luck charm.

Trivia/Goofs
- Pal ate some chocolate ice cream, but if that happened in real life, the dog could've died.
- If the pencil was really lucky, it wouldn't have broken. Irony.
- This was the second time Arthur screams at D.W. & for some help before this story ends. The first was in the episode D.W.'s Blankie.
- When Arthur look's at Miss Sweetwater's Class, Buster did not see her, but he loves jokes .
