"Arthur's Lucky Pencil" is the second half of the 2nd episode of season 2 of the animated children's series Arthur. It originally aired on September 29th, 1997.

Plot
Arthur's luck begins to change after he finds a pencil right before the stop of a rainstorm. The day after he finds the pencil and uses it, Arthur gets an A on a quiz, big slices of boston cream pie at his house, and 4 cans of soda onsale, for the price of just one. Arthur and his friends are convinced that the pencil is lucky and want to borrow it a lot. As the pencil gets shorter, Arthur is more conservative with the so called "lucky" pencil. Even with an upcoming history test, he won't let anyone use it, not even himself, untill he looses the pencil and cannot find it. The next day Arthur gets an A on his history test. After a while, he decides he didn't need it to get good grades on tests. While emptying their trashcan, D.W. finds the pencil and Arthur yells at her to give it back to him.
Trivia/Goofs
- Pal ate some chocolate ice cream, but if that happened in real life, the dog could of died.
