"The Last of Mary Moo Cow" is the first half of the 8th episode of the fifth season. It originally aired on October 23rd, 2000.

Summary

When D.W.'s favorite show, Mary Moo Cow, is canceled, D.W. starts a petition to try to force her show to go back on the air.

PLOT

Arthur resets the clocks to 4:00 DW Said 3:30's her tv time arthur said it says 4:00 dw said she cant tell time and tells mom on him and they watch mary moo cow arthur says what are you waiting for go to the title card then the screen says no!!!!! , DW screams because she's coming , then at the mary moo cow place the oh dw i love you song plays then a rocket flies , then in arthur's bed room she tells mom mary will secretly visit her then arthur and buster watches the last episode of mary moo cow then arthur said mary moo cow will die then arthur and buster sings numa numa , in dw's bedroom mom tells her that's what happen at 3:30 then she had a dream of weird stuff then she watches stock market today then May dane pops out then she tells dw this is boring and tells her to go outside and play then dw tells her no then may dane disappears then says hey dw hey dw let's go play then dw said she say's no then the boring woman on tv rips her face off and revealed that it's just may dane in disguise then the news turns on , a small version of mary moo cow repated what may dane said when she disappeared , dw says mary , then mini mary moo cow takes off her mask to reavel it's just a chipmunk dressed as a cow , then at the school dw shows everyone a petition then they signed with paint then dw builds a desk gets a petition and a money jar to sign it for 47 millon $ then arthur tells her we dont charge people to bring back old shows , dw saids "grown ups always think it's importent to cost money" , at the house arthur is the last last signinger then he leaves , dw grabs Kaitlyn's hand and said dinner then tell mom's she's ready to mail it , arthur gives mail to mary moo cow then she ask the kids what is it then the kids said what , mary drops the petition and dances while say hum da de dumb i am so rumbley then the kids point at mary and luagh , the kids and mary broke out of the cage then destroyed the desk then the back and the boring women runs aways then everthing explodes then comes back , mary and the kids yells full!!! , then flashback plays the time when the mailman give mail to dw then in arhur's room dw asks what it says then arthur tells that the person in the mama luigi costume is happy then he sings macerena then tells her the show is still canceled so he can watch dark bunny becuase it's still on the air then the mom reads the mail she said can you spell happy? then arthur said H A P P Y then they went the studio to get sock puppet then she runs to a dressing room then she meets the boring woman then they went home (flashback ends) then dw went upstairs and arthur comes to the tv then changed the channel after dw tells him she see mary moo cow some other time then arthur watches tv , the tv said dark bunny had been canceled

Trivia

• In D.W.'s daydream when she imagines Mary Moo Cow in jail, and there is a song. The lyrics are "P-E-T! Something Something Something" although with that amount of letters it would only spell "Petiti", not "Petition"
• In the short scene where the petition paper is seen, Liam's signature is seen. Liam is one of D.W.'s classmate.
• With the coins that D.W. collect, the come in a variety of the colors gold, silver, and brown, meaning these are the type of coin that Elwood City uses.
• Arthur's address is revealed to be 526 Main Street.
• The poster was spelled CANCELLED, but in subtitles when Jane tells D.W., she says "canceled".
• Arthur breaks the fourth wall in this episode by shouting "Wha, what are you waiting for?! Quick! Go to the title card!"
