Postcards from Buster is the 6th episode of season 8 of Arthur & the pilot episode of Postcards from Buster. This episode is unique to Arthur because it does not have a break in the middle (unlike other two-part episodes) and is partially filmed in live-action.

Summary

Buster, Arthur, and Arthur's family go to New York to meet with Buster's dad and to sight-see, respectively. Using a video camera from his mom, Buster records live-action scenes for the audience.

Plot

Buster is about to start his travel with his dad, and Buster is convinced that his mother is going to miss him. Meanwhile, D.W. wants to see "Unicornucopia", a 1-star rated play showing in New York City, so she tries to save money through every way possible.
