Summary
Muffy starts reading Mature Miss magazine and looks for more sophisticated friends. But is she in over her head?[3]
Plot
It starts off with Muffy sitting with Francine. She tells Francine that in Mature Miss they are eating salads and says Francine is embarrassing her. Later, she is at a sleepover with Francine. She sees that Francine's pajamas are different and old in her opinion. However, Francine gets mad. She calls for the limo and while she is waiting, she hears Catherine and then convinces her to help her pick out an outfit for a party. The next day, she picks out an outfit and Catherine admits she actually likes it. Then, Muffy has Catherine paint her toenails and she is impressed with how small they make her feet look like. Then, Muffy treats her to lunch. Muffy then persuades Catherine to give her a ride. At the party, she tells Catherine's friends she is very mature and they ask her to join her. She accepts, but soon realizes that she is not ready to hang out with teenagers yet. Then, she apologizes to Francine and Francine admits that she even thinks about being a teenager.
