#[[Hide and Snake]]. This just stressed me out. I've never liked snakes or venomous animals. The thought of having one run rampant in my house is horrible. Dishonorable mention to [[D.W. #[[The Lousy Week]]. Lousy is one way to describe this episode. It's gross. My other choice was [[Sleep No More]]. The concept of a pizza land was really cool and they could have done a lot with it. Buster sits in a generic hotel room the whole time!
#[[Crushed]]. This is disturbing. Arthur drew a picture of someone he hates getting eaten alive by a zombie sheep. The whole thing just feels wrong. Sally herself doesn't seem like such a great babysitter, either.
#[[Cast Away]]. Another "D.W. messes everything up and it's not funny" episode. I skip this one when rewatching Season 7.

Hey. Welcome to my page.

My favorite episode of each season

  1. I'm a Poet. The poems are funny (my favorite is Buster's one "These are the things that make me nauseous") and it's the episode where Fern's personality is established. Season 1 was kind of weak, but I go back to this one again and again.
  2. How the Cookie Crumbles. Banana was my idea! Without me, there's no banana! I like the soundtrack in this one, the part where Muffy tries to recreate the recipe, and the ending. Again, it's kind of weak, especially with the plothole of Muffy forgetting the recipe even though it's in the paper, but it's entertaining.
  3. Tie between I'd Rather Read It Myself and Arthur's Almost Live Not Real Music Festival. The first one is an amazing mashup of almost every episode that had aired at that point, from Crazy Bus to the snowball to Walter the Deer and even the wedding ring. Also, there's Bust-trantor's song. The second episode features a bunch of awesome songs, but it is mostly just a clip show episode. My favorite song is Homework. They're all good, but I can't really decide if I like or dislike Leftovers Goulash more.
  4. The Contest. They went all-out with the parodies and different art styles for this. It's a basic setup that works because of the different character's personalities. I can't really explain this, you just have to watch it.
  5. I get why most fans consider this a low point for the series. None of the episodes really stand out. However, if I had to pick one, I'd chose The Shore Thing because it left me with a pleasant feeling.
  6. Rhyme for Your Life. There are lots of things I like about this one. Such as how Binky is trying to do something nice for his mother, and not just something selfish for himself. The rhymes are funny, and I like the fourth wall break at the beginning.
  7. Prunella Sees the Light. I like it when Arthur does episodes about serious topics like blindness, allergies, cancer, and autism. They always do it in a child-friendly and easy-to-understand manner. Most kids shows wouldn't dare to do something like this.

My least favorite episode of each season

  1. Arthur Bounces Back. I hate this one so much. It promotes immoral acts (remember when Arthur sells something without his mother's permission?) and there is not a single joke I liked. Arthur was a lot more of a jerk in these early episodes.
  2. Arthur the Loser. Again, immoral acts and obnoxious behavior. My other choice would be one of the infamous D.W. episodes such as Go to Your Room, D.W. or D.W., the Picky Eater.
  3. Arthur and D.W. Clean Up. I never see anyone talk about this episode and I think I know why. It's forgettable. Did you remember it existed? I sure didn't! Anyways, this episode is just a bunch of whining and nothing really happens. I just don't understand why this episode exists.
  4. Hide and Snake. This just stressed me out. I've never liked snakes or venomous animals. The thought of having one run rampant in my house is horrible. Dishonorable mention to D.W. Tale Spins, where Arthur brags for half of it and the other half is an out-of-place parody of The Odyssey. After reading The Odyssey, it makes more sense, but it still wasn't that good.
  5. The Lousy Week. Lousy is one way to describe this episode. It's gross. My other choice was Sleep No More. The concept of a pizza land was really cool and they could have done a lot with it. Buster sits in a generic hotel room the whole time!
  6. Crushed. This is disturbing. Arthur drew a picture of someone he hates getting eaten alive by a zombie sheep. The whole thing just feels wrong. Sally herself doesn't seem like such a great babysitter, either.
  7. Cast Away. Another "D.W. messes everything up and it's not funny" episode. I skip this one when rewatching Season 7.
