Wiki Navigation

The Silent Treatment

Just to let you know I added slideshows to some of the characters that had a large amount of pictures. This was done to significantly reduce space. I'll be back in about a few hours need to take care of same issues off line. I also had to block a wikia contributor who was posting profanity on the comments of a few articles. Powerses' House

For the image of the whole exterior of the Powerses' house, can you replace the image, so that it doesn't look like there are any green globs on there, like from any other episode? FrancineFan3883 20:00, November 16th, 2011 (UTC)t

I did not like it either. It wouldn't even matter if you made it, because there's only 1 picture on here from the CGI movie, which is this one.

RE:Horses

Yes, I will be adding horses but for now I am working on wild animals, next will be farm animals, then finaly pets. It will take time. Can I use the picture of the horse?

I have another user you should be warned of. He or she is considering 4 th graders as teenagers. He or she added a new catigorey which is personal belief. His or her user number is 24.150.177.128. I can explain a 9 year old are still children untill they are thirteen. The underline part tells that they are a teenager. As for the under thing he catigore nerd and coolest. That is wrong. Classifing someone on appearace or how they act is mean and is considered someones opinon and not a fact.

I apologize for the late date of release, however, my recent vacation prolonged the wait for the first installment. So without further adieu, I'll get into some important wiki news. Firstly, the Postcards from Buster Wiki has recently been founded. The Administrators here on Arthur Wiki ask that you join the project and start contributing to what surely will be a great wiki for Postcards from Buster. I myself only Administered a few changes to the technical side of the wiki. You may have noticed, but the userpage notification that appears next to the username at the top has been altered. This notification once said, "Admin", and it now says, "Administrator". The Chat Moderator notice has also been changed from "Chat Moderator" to, "Chat Mod". LukePhiladelphia also introduced a change to the main page, wherein he added a box containing links to PBS Kids Go! Wikis. THE CJ IS BACK also devised a way to present the fact that a user has been blocked. A template was created to place on userpages of contributors who have been blocked. Interesting Information

Me and Annawantimes has gotten interesting information regarding this character. We got the info from user http://arthur.wikia.com/wiki/User:Rafael_Moraes191874 so I take no credit to this as it was him that pointed this out to me and Annawantimes.

Nothing in the video is set in stone yet. First I have to investigate to see if this is actually legit. However the name Jessica Kardos isn't new to the Arthur Series. She was the voice actor for Sue Ellen and Marie-Helene. So that reasoning pretty much makes the chances of this info being true 50/50 at this time. Block

Do not block someone without giving a warning first. Everyone has the right to trial, and by blocking someone without warning them, you take away that right. For future reference, warn someone at least once before blocking them. Annawantimes (Talk) 22:32, December 2, 2011 (UTC)

I agree with you to a degree, but in some cases some users have done violations that pretty much eliminates the need for any type of diplomacy and requires an instant block. Just my two cents on that. THE CJ IS BACK 23:38, December 2, 2011 (UTC)

There is always, and I mean always, a need for a warning. Consider this. A man commits a crime beyond fathoming, he does something horrible. By United States constitution, he has the right to a trial, no matter how awful the crime. It is clearly stated in the bill of rights. Therefore, we cannot overlook a warning and resort to an instant block. On a smaller account, it is in violation of the item in the Bill of Rights. I know, it is a much, much smaller scale, and simply overlooking a warning here is not a crime punishable by law, but for the sake of respecting that right, we must continue to issue warnings. Every wiki you may visit at least offers one warning. Avatar Wiki, which I consider to have some of the most strict policies, never issues less than two warnings. Featured Image

Hi Luke. I remember you mentioned that we should have a featured image on the mainpage. Well, how about a randomly generated image. Visit my sandbox and scroll to the bottom for an example of the random generator. The way I have that one set up is to generate a random Administrator of Arthur Wiki. A template would be a good idea, as I the coded element does make the page's coding more complex. I'll add a place for the template to go on the mainpage. Yes, at the time I made that template, I was confused about how to make the fields optional. I've learned how to do so, so I will fix the template in my sandbox and publish the changes in the actual template. Hi Luke, I found a user puting false information on several pages. He or she claims that certain celeberty voice actors and actress are do these characters voices. I have checked out the voice actors and actress are not true, so this is the user. Sorry I could not place its number but look up Arthur's uncle Bud and look at history today. its number is there.

I myself came up with the new Vandalism Statistics Board, which documents any and all daily vandalism here on Arthur Wiki. LukePhiladelphia had the idea to make infobox templates optional, which was done by yours truly. A new template used for location articles was also developed. It can be used for schools, shops, and cities. Lately many of us have been wondering whether or not Maria, a non-speaking character, will become have a major role in Season 16. I also started a long process of updating most of the minor characters with pictures depicting them in their alternate apparel and images that show the characters elsewhere like in the library or at lunch for example. That process is about halfway done at this time. On top of updating the profiles for the minor characters, I also did a small update on both Camp Meadowcroak and Camp Horsewater using the location template that Annawantimes recently made and is now available for use. Both Rafael Moraes191874 and Orion001 have indeed found information that confirms Season 16 is in production. The biggest change according the video is that Maria will become a main character. According to the source she will become a main character in Season 16. But on other sources it is not yet confirmed. While contacting Cookie Jar Production, the developers were in a meeting and need time to research into this claim. On other terms the video may be fake.
