Doria drove up a small two floor house. The two got out of the car and walked up to the door a female cat wearing wearing a green dress appeared at the door."Come on in." She said. They walked into the kitchen. It was a small kichen compared to Doria, but it got all the needs for anyone. She made use of all the space she had. We sat down to a triditional Mexican lunch. Chicken Tacos with rice and black beans. The grown ups talked about there day so far but the only point to menchen was that Mrs. Molina was woried I was a picky eater. But she was supprised when I cleaned my plate. "Thank you for the delicious lunch Mrs. Molina." Adam said. Doria was impressed with Adam now. Adam has became more comfortable with his surrounding in a matter of hours. "Your Welcome young man." She Said. "You can me Susan." Adam smiled. "Oh right, Susan." Adam said. "You can call me Adam." As the hour passed Adam learned that Doria and Susan were friends and so was there daughters. They spoke untill it was time to leave. Adam went to the back seat right after they left Mr. Molina. Doria looked at the clock and relised that she is ahead of schedual and had enough time to head downtown to see Mrs. Baxter at the newspaper office and than drop Adam off at the baby sitters. They drived downtown to a large building with the sign Elwood City Times in big red letters. They entered the front doors and headed down along hallway with lots of glass doors. Adam staired at all the men and women walking in and out of the doors. Adam noticed that they were all animals of different species. They came to a large open space called the news room. In there alot of the reporters where busy running up and down the rows trying to get there stories ready for the morning edition. We went pass all of them to a small office with the sign says Bitzi Baxter Chef reporter. We entered the room Mrs Baxter was busy on the phone with a contact. She turned around to keep her call private. Doria knew what todo, she went over to the archives and looked up reason houses in the market. She wrote down the address of the house and the occupents name, both Adam and Doria left the building. They drove north of the downtown core to residentical street in the north western part of Elwood city. They pulled up to a two store huse with green roofings and tilts and yellow wooden sidings. The two walked up the pass and up a small wooden stairs to the front door. Doria rapped on the door, and old lady walked out she wore a blue blouse with yellow lining, she had blue pants and wore blue runnong shoes. She had grey hair, brown skin and blue square shaped glasses. "Hello, Mrs Walters." She said.. Adam looked at her then to Doria. "This is your Baby sitter, Thora Read." Doria said. Adam looked again at Thora, she had a big smile, suddenly out of the back ran up a young girl. She was not bigger than Adam, she wore a green dress, pink under shirt and pink stockigngs, she wore broen shoes and had short brown hair and brown skin. She was not in a good mood. "Grandma, I was waiting an hour I want to play." She ordered. "Sorry D.W, I am have been waiting for this young boy." Thora said. "Who is this?" D.W said. "He looks weird." Adam sneered at D.W. D.W sneered back. "Hold your horses you two." Thora said. "He will be staying with us for the afternoon until Fern is done school." "Fine, but he looks to old to have a baby sitter." D.W. said. Adam frowned and backed behind Doria. Doria walked around Adam and went back to the car. She smiled and waved good bye. Adam stared as she drove off. "Ok, you two how about some fun." Thora said. The three walked into the house. They when down a peach hallway and entered a peach coloured room with a blue love seat, next to a window, a blue sofa on the right side of the room and infront of it was a brown coffee table and infront of it was an old brown box TV on a brown TV stand. Adam, and D.W sat down on the coaches. Thora left the room and head further down the hallway. D.W stared at Adam with a terrifying glare. "I know you are facking your age." She said. Adam nervously went into his pocket and pulled out his Pokedex. He opened it and it turned on. Adam pressed a few buttons and a image of Adam appeared on the scean. "Here is my age and name." Adam said nervously. This Pokedex belongs to Adam Perreira, 10 years old, from Toronto, Canada, Trainer Number 13661. Born August 12." The Pokedex said. "Ok, it needs some updateing." Adam admitted. "But, the doctor who saw me yesterday told me I was 6 years old." D.W stared Adam down with even more. Adam started to sweet. "Are the doctors sure that it is your age 6." D.W said. Adam finaly collapse of pressure from D.W. "I don't know how, all I know is that the doctor did somes tests on me and they concluded that I was 6 years old." Adam said. DW stare still eaten away Adams nervous. "I told him I was 10 years old, but he said not by the results I was 6 years old." "Fine." D.W said. "OK kids I have a game for you to play with." She brought in a box with a picture of a duck on it. It was called Confuse the Goose. It was a weird looking game where a yellow goose sat in the center of a board where there is small canapults are on all four sides and two in front of the goose. D.W sat infront in the left corner canapult. Adam sat infront of the rear canapult in front of the goose. "How do you play this game." Adam asked. "It is simply." D.W said. "You push down on the thing and release it and hit the goose." Adam looked at the goose and then he looked at the canapult. "Ok it looks simple." Adam said. The two started playing each of them canapulting a coin to the gooses mouth. Each game passed by, mintues became hours. Adam was not doing as good as he thought first. "Ok I give up, How do you really play?" Adam said. DW stares at Adam, "Fine I will tell you a secert. You must ame at the goose before it gets close to you." D.W restarted the goose. Amed the canapult to the goose. Before the goose made a complete turn back to her. She releaset the canapult before the goose faced her and she hit the mark. Adam was amazied of what this kid could do. "Master, I am your padawan." Adam said. DW stared at Adam. "I am ready to learn." The two restarted the game and the two countinued the game. Finaly four o'clock came around when Thora entered the room. "It is almost time to go you two." She said. "We are not done yet." Both of the said. Thora came over, picked up the game and putted it away. Outside the a wet dog came to the door. Following the dog was a Riechue. Thora opened the door and the wet dog walked up the stairs. It was Fern, she was soaking wet. "Oh, dear." Thora said. "Come on, go up stairs take your wet clothest." Thora guided Fern upstairs. Adam was confused there is not a cloud in the sky. A few minutes latter Fern came down stairs. She was wearing a pink house coat, Thora followed down stairs holding Ferns wet clothest and her trade mark bow too. She went into a closed room and disapeared again. Fern sat down on the coach. She fixed her self so that she dose not reveal anything. Adam sat next to her. "What happened to you?" Adam asked. DW climbed on to the chair next to Fern. Fern looked at both Adam and DW. In quite voice she said. "I got hit by a water balloon." Adam notice that if it was one water balloon and it would be just wet, but she war soaked head to toe. "Who did this to you?" DW asked. A noice approached the door there where three voices. The door opened up sudenly. three kids came through the door. One was a female brown monkey, she wore a yellow and red striped shirt and red shorts, wore a pair of blue running shoes. She had short brown hair. The next to her was a white rabbit he wore grenn shirt wirh a single lime green line in the middle, he wore brown shorts and a pair of red running shoes, and the final boy, was a brown aardvark. he wore a light blue shirt with white boarders, green shorts, and red running shoes. The were laughing and talking to each other until the turned and saw Fern, Adam, and DW. They stared a the trio. Then they moved to the kitchen. Fern turned to Adam. "They were the ones who threw the water ballon." Fern said. Adam's went from concerned to pure rage. Adam jumped off the chair and folloed after the group. Adam entered to a large room with one entrance way. Adam stood at the only door infront of a large brown table. There were two islands on both sides of the room with a large appliance on the ends. On the other side was a bunch of flowers placed on the wall. Adam gazed at the three at the table. They were eating chocolrt chip cookies from a cookie jar. Adam's glared at them. "Why did you threw water balloons at my sister." Adam said. The three stoped eating. "I didn't know Fern had a brother." The female monkey said. "Did you know that she had a brother Buster?" She looked at Buster the white rabbit. "No, I did not know she had a brother." Buster said. "Did you know Arthur?" Arthur was the brown aardvark. "No I did not know Fern had a brother." Said Arthur. "Francine we do not know that she had a brother." The brown monkey Francine turned back to the cookies. "I guess no one knows that she has a brother because we could not hear her. She said with a snicker. Adam was not happy with there introduction. "So are you going to say sorry." Adam said. "No way." The trio said. "Why apoloygise to a mouse." Francine said. Fern could here there conversation from the living room and she has started to cry. Adam was angry that Fern was soaking wet and crying. "I will count to tree." Adam said. "Tree, do you mean three." Francine chuckled. Adam was not smiling from the joke. "1....2...." Adam said. "The trio got up and started laughing and running towards the door, knocking Adam out of the way. "3" Adam said with a evil smile. The trio ran out the door and locked the door behind them. They were laughing and giggling. "You saw his face." Francine said. "I know." Arthur said. "Gaaaaaaa." Buster said. "Count to tree." Francine snickered. "Come on, what he thinks he is our parents." The laughing countinued and three larger kids walked down the street passed by the laughing group. "Hey, what so funny." Said the female rabbit. She had short hair, much shorter than Francine, but it covered her eyes. She wore a jean jacket and jeans. She wore red shoes. "Ya Molly what so funny." Said the male dog. He wore a black jacket and a yellow shirt under neath, the jacket was open. He wore green pants. He had a red hat on backwards. He wore blue shoes. "I am in charge, you two have no say Rattles and Molly" the other male dog. He wore a orange dress shirt, and blue jeans with brown shoes. "Yes, Binky." His minons said. "So what is so funny?" Binky said. Arthur, Buster and Francine went from happy and laughing to scared. The door ripped from the henges and flew across the front yard. It supprised Binky, Molly, Rattles, Arthur, Buster and Francine. Adam appeared in the door frame. "Here is Johnny." Adam said. Adam marched across the lawn. Deep foot prints are revealed on the lawn. "Hey. Binky said. "What do you want." Adam marched over to Arthur and his friends. "Well are you three going to say sorry to my sister." Adam asked. Now seeing that Adam ment bussiness. Arthur and his friends finaly stoped the teasing. The three hurried into the house and disappeared. Adam turned away from Binky and his friends and was heading back in to the house, when Binky grabed Adams shoulder. "Wait a minute." Binky said. "Scarying kids are our thing." "Ya Binks." said his minons. "So don't forget that." Binky finished. Adam turned around and flipped Binky on to his back. "Are you saying something." Adam said. "Binks need some help." Said Rattles. "No, I can held him." Binky said get off the ground. Binky pounced Adam with a shoulder grab but Adam caught him and turned him around and tossed him across the front lawn. Binky got up slowly. "I think he got the idea." The group left Adam with there Binky trailing behind. Adam entered the house and Francine and Buster where leaving. They turned to Adam and said there byes. Thora entered the upstairs. "What is going on up here." No one could answer. It is now after supper and Adam was siting next to Fern. Fern was showing Adam how to read and write. Doria and Clark where siting and reading the newspaper while the kids worked. The rap came from the door. Doria got up and walked over to the door. A old lady wearing a green dress appeared at the door. "Hello, dear I am here to see your Son." She said.
