Well with the end of my computer nearing I decided to take this time to go down memory lane and share some of my past experiences here on this wonderful, tough, caring, and durable wiki. Now I know some maybe thinking that two years may not seem a lot to most of you, but when you think about all the things that went on during those two years it's a long time years. So kids, families, and anyone that is curious who are reading along I do hope you enjoy this story with me.

When I first came here in late 2010 I looked around this site and noticed that some pages around here had been vandalized, but it wasn't too bad at first, cause we still had administrators that still were available on the wiki. After uploading my first page (4th Grade Male Dog) I noticed that there weren't many users on the wiki and I thought that was strange, but it didn't really cross my mind. I would later find out in 2011 that the founder of the wiki has not been around since mid 2010. I had the privilege of helping to reveal the names of two then unnamed characters (Alex and Maria) after some users and myself debated about these two characters and whether the names were legit. After a couple days we soon came to a conclusion that there was enough evidence to change their names to Alex and Maria. That was one of my most favorite moments on this wiki when I helped to reveal and support that information. The proof I had was in the episode MacFrensky where it showed the names of everyone in the class.

We had other users on the wiki that edited like Luke707 who came months before I did, Jacksonian who in early 2011 a new user at the time and would later become an administrator, and Noachs who was the administrator of the wiki at the time. They edited along with yours truly and several unregistered users. While I continued to upload more pages the vandalism to the wiki began to increase substantially and get worse during certain periods of 2011 although it got bad during the summer. Usually there was about a few users around the wiki at best, which explains why the vandalism on the wiki was so excessive. We had a lot of pages that had nothing to do with Arthur like spammed pictures and images that were modified and basically promoted dislike and if not hate to the Arthur show and the entire series.

To put this in better terms if anyone here has seen graffiti on both the buses and subways in New York City during the 1970s and 1980s that is basically what this wiki looked like. The wiki was rundown and had many pages vandalized. There were pictures that were vandalized and trolls and spammers making death threats towards other users and to the characters of Arthur. The worst part about it was that this wiki had no administrator protecting it at the time, so vandals were free to do whatever they want to this site, which was literally a sitting duck. Me and my fellow user Orion001 who was during the summer of 2011 a new user to the wiki struggled to keep pages vandalism free while we faced multitudes of vandalized pages that needed cleaning up.

Me and Orion both had our pages vandalized too, but we still kept editing any way despite our pages being targeted by vandals. Other registered users also struggled with vandals as well. Just as things seemed hopeless another new user arrived during the summer of 2011 and his name was Annawantimes. After only a couple of months of being on the wiki Annawantimes requested administrator rights and won unanimously by every registered and unregistered user on the wiki. Then Annawantimes teamed up with another user named Dduvall95 and together they eliminated a lot of spam and malicious content throughout the entire wiki.

Many users involved with the vandalism and spamming were immediately blocked before they could cause anymore damage to the improving wiki. Me and Orion001 jumped in to help along with Jacksonian and Luke707. Soon new pages were made and vandalism around the wiki decreased dramatically. Things soon got better even though we still had stragglers around that vandalized pages and removed content from pages. These were dealt with afterward. If anyone here can say who the hero was that saved this wiki is wasn't just me or Orion it was the entire wiki that helped cleaned up during and after the wiki was vandalized.
