It's been a while since I've made one of these. I'm not even sure what to say, but when I think about all the site has been through, it really makes everyone fortunate that the site was cleaned up when it did. It was a really stressful and daunting task.

When the vandalism was around, a few years ago, it was basically editing at your own risk around here. Accounts, including my own were vandalized with vulgar comments and content removed. Death threats were made to anyone that edited and overall it was just bad.

Thanks to a combination of users coming in at the right time, the site not only recovered, but prospered. There were some lingering issues around that were eventually taken care of.

Everyone that was there, it really changed our perspective of things. As for why the site fell into disrepair, it was a combination of factors that caused it.

Admins disappearing out of nowhere, low morale, little to no action taking place with the users that caused all the destruction of this site, lack of trust amongst ourselves, and many other things.

I'm glad those days are over. I'm also glad we have users that are going above and beyond with the site. That will be it for this reprise of the original story time that I made. View here for the original page.
