Buster Baxter discovered a comet in "The Boy Who Cried Comet!" He originally thought it was going to impact the Earth and wipe out all life, but Fern realized that the telescope's computer was malfunctioning. It was later named after Buster, since he did discover it. The newspaper writes an article on the Baxter Comet, but they get the Brain's name wrong, calling him the "Bran." It is mentioned in "Bitzi's Break-up" where Buster pretends to talk in his sleep saying 'Comet is coming', and in "Elwood City Turns 100!" where it is mentioned in the school play. However, it has only been referred to by its name, Baxter Comet, in "The Boy Who Cried Comet."
