TeleNiños
TeleNiños (no relation to the American Telemundo television corporation), is a Canadian television channel targeted towards Spanish children aged 3-17 that was launched by the TLN Media Group.[1] It was launched along side Telebimbi, which was similar in age demographic but is directed towards Italian speaking Canadians. The channels gradually made their way to Canadian cable providers throughout the 2010's after the initial launch and press release in 2010. Programming was provided by Canada-based companies, including Cookie Jar Entertainment (Now known as WildBrain), who provided rights to air Arthur during their years of handling production for the show.
Airing Arthur[edit]
Cookie Jar Entertainment[edit]
At the time of the channel's launch in 2010, Cookie Jar Entertainment handled production and distribution of Arthur. Since the company had copies of the original Spanish dub of "Arthur," called "Arturo" with the original Spanish title cards, that version of the spanish dub was given to Teleninos. Teleninos is the last network to air the original spanish dub of seasons 1 of Arthur since Cookie Jar's rights to distribute Arthur expired by 2012 (Later distributions of older Arthur episodes dubbed in spanish, particularly in America use the english title card). The original "Arturo" dub of older episodes are still being aired as reruns. The original italian dub of older Arthur dubs was also given to Telebimbi by Cookie Jar.
Known seasons aired[edit]
- Season 1 [Since 2010]
As is common with most international releases of Arthur episodes, the "A Word from Us Kids" segment found in U.S. releases is not present in TeleNinos and Telebimbi airings. This free time was commonly reserved for commercial breaks in most international airings however, there were no commercial breaks on the TeleNinos and Telebimbi networks. The space between episodes was instead filled with bumpers that aired continuously.
Trivia[edit]
- TeleNinos/Telebimbi have not been provided with new Arthur Episodes since the original deal with Cookie Jar Entertainment in 2010.

- The network has only ever aired season 1.
