I truly can not believe that "Patrick" is any play on "Spongebob". Were it true, the play could only be "Patrick is a starfish, Patrick is a chocolatier, therefore Patrick is a Chocolate Starfish." "Chocolate starfish" is a fun crude term for "anus". Therefore, by claiming that Ratburn's gay lover "Patrick" is a play on "Patrick the starfish", one is directly calling him an anal sex enthusiast. --- Unknown
