Part-Jewish? Wha?[edit]

This is a strange assertion. Judaism is a religion. To say that someone is "part-Jewish" is like saying that someone is "part-Christian," or that they're a "part-Atheist." If she accepts Judaism as her religion, then she is Jewish. If she does not accept Judaism as her religion, but her parents were Jewish or something, then she "has Jewish ancestors." If she herself accepts Judaism as her religion, but her husband is Muslim or something, then she is still Jewish. ProfessorTofty (talk) 00:53, October 24, 2012 (UTC)

This will be an interesting topic to discuss. What you say is more over true.  IT'S ME IT'S ME IT'S MC CJ | Talk  . 00:59, October 24, 2012 (UTC)
Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure that is saying that some of Joan Rivers's ancestry was of the Jewish faith. "Part Jewish ancestry" would most likely be the most proper term. --Muppetfan (talk) 01:01, October 24, 2012 (UTC)
