Parade Balloons
As an effective way of promoting or advertising their television shows, media companies in ownership of a children's character will often fund parade balloons to be featured at parade events. A famous example would be the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York, U.S.A.
Most prominently during the time period where the Cookie Jar Entertainment corporation held production and distribution rights to Arthur (1996-2012), Arthur parade floats would make a few appearances in commercial and public events since 1997 and throughout the 2000's. Balloon outings would more frequently be financially backed by sponsors.
