Mychal Threets
Mychal Threets (also known as Mychal the Librarian) is a librarian best known for his viral videos on social media. He is an advocate for libraries and the services they offer. He also raises awareness for mental health and is known for his joyful and positive messages.
In January 2024, he was awarded the "I Love My Librarian" award by the American Library Association.[1]
Announced in February 2024, Threets is set to collaborate with PBS Kids as the television brand's "resident librarian."[2]

Threets appears as a special guest in "Arthur Meets Mychal the Librarian." Similar to Larry King's appearance on the show, Threets is not animated. Instead, his live-action footage is superimposed over animations alongside Arthur.
