Knowledge Network (Canada)
The Knowledge Network is a free cable and satellite television channel that is available in the providence of British Columbia in Canada. It is owned by the Government of British Columbia and is funded by Canadian government. It airs mostly educational content for the general public of British Columbia including children with its delegated block for kids shows, Knowledge Kids. The network's shows for kids are mostly those acquired from Canadian and American companies such as PBS, who allowed the network broadcasting rights to Arthur.
Arthur began airing on the Knowledge Network in 2004 with new episodes premiering on the network until 2014, when the show was dropped from the line-up. Arthur aired in the rest of Canada through BBC Kids. Arthur briefly returned to the network in 2017 but it was seemingly dropped again in 2018. Advertisements for the Arthur website on PBS Kids found in U.S. airings and home media releases of the show are removed in Knowledge Network airings.
