Henry the eighth was mentioned by Muffy as someone who could have used Buffy’s 16th-century Tennis racquet, which she called a “piece of junk”. Buffy clarified that her racquet was actually owned by Henry V. "The Return of the King"

- Henry VIII was King of England from 1509 to 1547.
- In the novel adaptation, King Arthur, Buffy claims to be related to Henry VIII (her great (x9) uncle), rather than in the cartoon (Henry V, her great (x6) uncle).
