Canada

Canada is a North American country with ten provinces and three territories. Arthur was created and produced in Canada, with the headquarters of Cookie Jar Entertainment, 9 Story Entertainment and Oasis Animation, being in Montreal, Quebec. Most of the voice actors and crew members of the show are Canadian. For some reason the show makes no references to Canada and Canadians. Despite its Canadian origins, Arthur is still considered an American animated series due to it being a PBS original series intended primarily for an American audience.

Although many fans believe that Arthur itself takes place in Canada, evidence in the show such as the characters' non-self-referential quips about Canadians suggests otherwise.
