Within this article, you may support your views on which article you think should be featured. As Featured Articles are decided upon monthly, they will be archived in seperate articles each year, and linked to on this page. View article style expectations and nomination and voting processes below.

Featured Article Policy[edit]

Requirements[edit]

  • Articles may not be stubs, meaning they must contain a legitimate amount of content.
  • The article must have at least one picture. The article's profile image will be shown on the main page.
  • The article that is nominated cannot have already been featured in a past month.
  • All articles that are proposed to be featured must contain information and sections that other articles of the same type have.
  • Featured Articles are meant to showcase our best articles, so pages must be above others in terms of style.

Nomination and Voting Process[edit]

  • Articles can only be nominated by a registered user.
  • The user may not be on probation, meaning they have violated a Policy of Arthur Wiki more than twice.
  • Articles will be nominated, and if approved by users, the article will be approved for voting.
  • Nominations will take place in the first half of the month (1st-15th)
  • Voting will take place the second half of the month (16th-30th/31st)
  • Once approved, the article will be featured on the main page the 1st of the next month, and remain featured for that entire month.
  • Once a new article is featured, the nomination and voting process will start over.

Instructions[edit]

In Bold text Heading 4, please add the title of the article you wish to nominate. Write a brief description of the article and why it should be featured. Below, you and other users can place your feelings of the proposal. Type {{Support}} before you add your reason for support if you are in support of the proposal. Type {{Oppose}} before you add your reason for oppose if you object to the proposal. Be sure to add 4 ~'s to let others know who you are.

  • I think Fur Elise should be the Featured Article becuase it is a nice sized article, and it is about something many people do not know about :) SuperMarshmallow (talk) 20:14, September 18, 2012 (UTC)

User of the Month[edit]

Requirements[edit]

  • Users may not have won this award before.
  • They may not be probation—meaning they cannot have violated the policy more than twice.
  • The user must have made at least 50 edits.
  • The user must have been in the wiki for at least 3 weeks.

Nomination and Voting Process[edit]

  • Users can only be nominated by a registered user.
  • The nominator may not be on probation, meaning they have violated a policy more than twice.
  • Users will be nominated, and if approved by other users, the user will be approved for voting.
  • Nominations will take place in the first half of the month (1st-15th)
  • Voting will take place the second half of the month (16th-30th/31st)
  • Once approved, the user will be featured on the main page the 1st of the next month, and remain featured for that entire month.
  • If only one user has been nominated, she/he will automatically be featured, regardless of any opposition.
  • Once a new user is featured, the nomination and voting process will start over..
