Arthur: A Live Adventure
Arthur: A Live Adventure was a touring stage show based on the animated TV series Arthur. The live show toured in 1999, and ended sometime in 2001. It was produced by SFX Entertainment (now Live Nation) and was sponsored by Juicy Juice.
The live show is a retelling of the season 2 episode Arthur's Lucky Pencil, with a setlist of songs added in. The only known songs featured in the show were titled Lucky Pencil, Practice Makes Perfect [1], Breakfast Surprise, and a medley of famous songs from the past (20th) century (self proclaimed as One Hundred Years of North American Music), which features Scott Joplin's Maple Leaf Rag, and The Village People's YMCA. [2]
Sometime in 2007, a successor show, titled Arthur Tricks the Tooth Fairy, toured the United States and was based off of the book with the same name.
Trivia[edit]
- In the episode, the "Lucky Pencil" was blue and had a star sticker on it. However, in the live show, it seemed to be red with yellow polka dots.
- The merchandise for Live Adventure included pencil shaped flashlights.
