Yo-Yo Ma (Traditional Chinese: 馬友友) (born October 7, 1955) is an American cellist and virtuoso. He has received multiple Grammy Awards the National Medal of Arts in 2001 and the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2011. Ma is regarded by some as the most famous cellist of the modern age.
He appeared on Arthur in "My Music Rules", where D.W. pursuades him to play at the library. Binky anticipated that he would get into a huge fight with Joshua Redman because of their different music genres, but they got along nicely, playing a jazz remix of Crazy Bus.
