WildBrain Ltd. is a Canadian media production and distribution company that is the world's largest independent owner of children's and family entertainment, owning more than 13,000 half-hours of programming such as Peanuts, Teletubbies, Caillou, and Inspector Gadget.

WildBrain was founded in 2006 as DHX Media following the merger of two Canadian entertainment companies, Decode Entertainment and Halifax Film Company, and is headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

In 2012, DHX Media acquired (and folded) fellow Canadian company Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc. (formerly known as CINAR Productions Inc. from the company's founding in 1976 until 2004), which was located in Toronto, Ontario (previously Montreal, Quebec as CINAR). They co-produced and animated Arthur from 1996 until 2011, when 9 Story Media Group took over. They made seasons 1-8 from 1996-2003 as CINAR and seasons 9-15 from 2004-2011 as Cookie Jar Entertainment.

As of 2019, WildBrain no longer lists Arthur on their website or distribution catalogue.
