Uncle Silas is Ladonna's uncle. Fern used Silas as inspiration for a fictional character named Uncle Cyrus.
Uncle Silas works as a clown and has a crazy hairdo. He owns a pet parrot that tells jokes that Ladonna deemed "terrible". The parrot once got lost. He had bought the parrot from a pet store in the mall.
