Sharky is a purple and white inflatable toy shark that is owned by D.W. Read. He was originally seen in Arthur's Family Vacation when the Reads' were planning on going to the beach. Muffy Crosswire owns a inflatable shark identical to Sharky that was seen in a flashback from Muffy's Classy Classics Club, but it is unknown what name Muffy gave to him, if any. Sharky also appeared in Arthur Makes a Movie when a shark (Sharky) attacked a woman (Francine) who James Hound (Arthur) had to save.
