Sean[1] (Shelly in the books[2]) is one of Arthur's paternal uncles. His wife is Aunt Bonnie and his son is Cousin George.
He appears in one episode, "Arthur's Cousin Catastrophe". He is known for being haughty and snobbish. In "Muffy Goes Metropolitan," a character is seen from a side view whose appearance is similar to him.
Appearance
Sean appears to be about David's age or slightly older. He has well-combed hair and glasses. He is seen in an orange polo and shorts. He wears brown loafers and long, creamy brown socks. In his cameo in "D.W. Beats All," he is seen wearing a green shirt and blue shorts.
Personality
In his conversation with Grandma Thora, it is revealed that he is a writer. He is very intelligent, but sometimes doesn't understand that people don't care about his smarts. He also finds Arthur strange, mostly because Arthur was trying to avoid Monique. He seems to have an interest in bridges.
Family
He is married to Arthur's Aunt Bonnie. They live together with their son, George, in Ohio.
