Romero, Gorshin, and Meredith are salesmen who work for Crosswire Motors. Having not sold as many cars as had Ed Crosswire, they were given a demonstration of selling cars by their boss.
They are only known by their last names.
Behind the scenes
Their names are references to Burgess Meredith, Cesar Romero, and Frank Gorshin, actors who played the Penguin, the Joker, and the Riddler, respectively, on the 1960s Batman TV series.
