Pony Day was D.W.'s idea for a new holiday in "The Long, Dull Winter". It is all about ponies. Despite Arthur's objections, D.W. had her mom type it up and give it to Buster's mom, who published it in the newspaper. It may become a real holiday, if what Buster said is true.
