Persimmony Glitchet is one of Fern Walters's favorite authors and the writer of Horrendously Horrible Happenings. "Due to the dangerous nature of his research", he is constantly traveling and his chauffeur, Max Wheeler, answers all of the letters sent to him by fans, unless the letter is very important, such as Fern's. In "Fern and Persimmony Glitchet", he replies to the letters sent by Fern. His real name is never revealed, and he is very secretive about it.
