Nigel Ratburn is a fictional character and the main third-grade teacher at Lakewood Elementary School. He gives out a lot of math and homework to the kids in class. He is often considered as the strictest teacher at Lakewood Elementary School. He first appeared in the Episode 1 segment Arthur's Eyes, but made his first major appearance in the Episode 2 segment Arthur and the Real Mr. Ratburn along with its twin segment Arthur's Spelling Trubble.
