Mrs. Gutter was Arthur's babysitter from the past when he was a little boy. Arthur disliked her, because she would play golf in the house, and Arthur would put a metal colander on his head to protect himself from getting hit by the golf balls. She also appeared in other episodes as a background in episodes such as "Muffy's New Best Friend".
