Melissa Altro (born May 16, 1982) is a voice actress who has been voicing Muffy Crosswire since the beginning of the Arthur TV series.

Besides working on the show Arthur, she has played the lead voice role of Pippi Longstocking in the TV show with the same name and played Gretchen in Camp Lakebottom.

Altro is the only child actress to voice her character throughout the series during her adulthood.
- She was just 12 years old at the time she was cast for the role of Muffy back when the show started production in 1994.
  - This is because of the fact that not all female voices can get deeper like all the boy voices do during puberty.
Altro is also a voiceover director and coach.
