She does sit with Brain, Fern, and Muffy in Mr. Ratburn's class and most likely hangs out with them along with the other main characters, but has been seen most of the time with her friend [[Alex]]. Not much is known about Maria other then the fact she appears in the series as a background character. She has a brother named Steve that is seen throughout the series, but unlike her Steve has had one speaking role in the series so far.
Apperance
She is a rabbit with a tan complexion and has brown colored hair. She wears a light blue colored dress and a dark blue and pink striped shirt and wears brown colored shoes. In the summer time she wears a pink and light blue colored dress and the same brown shoes.Her hair also resembles DW's hair. When it comes to sleeping Maria wears pink pajamas, which was only seen in the episode The World of Tomorrow.
Future Life
We only get a brief glimpse into her future in "The Election" when she is seen in a crowd behind President Muffy.
