4th Grade Male Aardvark is an unnamed fourth grader who made his first appearance in the episode Arthur's Eyes. This character has had interaction with the main characters in earlier episodes.
He's has spoken once throughout the series, which took place in the episode Francine's Bad Hair Day. He was in Mrs. Fink's third grade class, although he was shown in her class once during the episode, Tipping the Scales.
After that episode he was never seen in the class again and it's safe to assume he's a fourth grader. He may have been in Mr. Ratburn's class the previous year. He is kind to the other kids and was usually seen with Kenny.
He is also seen playing on the Lakewood Soccer team. He once finished his homework walking down the school's street. The assignment was to think of two words that rhymed. He said as he passed Arthur and Buster "Spring, thing! My homework's all done!"
Appearance
4th Grade Male Aardvark is an aardvark with a placid complexion. He dresses very similarly to Mr. Marco. He has light blue colored jeans, blue colored sky jacket with a yellow shirt underneath, and brown shoes.
When playing soccer he is wearing blue shorts with a white line running down the left side, a black colored shirt, and blue and white colored sneakers. In the Winter he wears a blue colored sweater, a blue hat, and light blue mittens.
Trivia
- This character has only spoken in the episode Arthur Writes a Story.
- He is also on the Lakewood Soccer Team and has been seen on the team several times.
- This character and 4th Grade Male Rabbit were at one time seen in Mr. Ratburn's class.
- This character in earlier seasons was depicted as a 3rd grader and was even in Mrs. Fink's class. In later Seasons he has never been seen in Mrs. Fink's class and is now a 4th grader.
- He is seen in the intro of the show along with Otis and 4th Grade Male Dog.
- In the episode Team Trouble, he breaks the fourth wall by waving toward the viewers through the window in the cafeteria, while Buster and Arthur are talking to Francine.
- The inside of his house was revealed during the episode Sue Ellen Moves In while he was talking to the other kids on the phone about Sue Ellen. It appears that he is talking on the phone via the living room as part of the frame for a picture is seen. The wall is also dark green colored.
