"Love Notes for Muffy" is the first half of the 16th episode of season 2 of the animated children's series Arthur. Together with D.W. Blows the Whistle, it first aired on March 16th, 1998.
Summary
The Brain and Francine use fake love notes to get revenge against Muffy after she puts them down at the science fair. So they decide to play a joke on Muffy by making a fake love note to her and they place it on her desk during recces. Little do they know their joke has unintended consequences and they quickly must fix it before things get worse.

- Error: Fern told Francine she knew it was her because she saw her put the note on Muffy's desk. But the note appeared to have been planted when the whole school was dark and empty. When would Fern have seen her?
